Fullphonics Mixing and Mastering

Thank you for checking out Fullphonics. I am looking forward to finding out more about your music. Music is like a language. The more we learn the easier and more fluent it is to speak. When we make music with others, it’s like conversing on a deep instinctive level.
Many live musicians talk of the almost telepathic nature of performing together; each playng their part and responding to their bandmates without speaking a word. When I’m mixing I can feel the emotions the artist had when they made that song. I can feel their creativity and can converse with them, even when they are not in the room. I got into mixing and mastering because I was fascinated by the processes involved. I began to understand the importance of the engineer’s interpretation of a piece and developed a deep respect for the sheer power a mixing engineer has. I realized while playing live, that the success of the concert is in the hand of the Front Of House engineer. It doesn’t matter how good the band is, when the engineer sucks, the concert is going to suck.

When listening to albums, I became mesmerized by what a good mixing and mastering engineer could do to a song. They could transform a good song into something great and I wanted to do that too. When mixing and mastering your music, my purpose is to elevate each song to the next level. I love to find the elements that make a song unique and push those parts to the forefront. The character of a singer’s voice, the tone of a guitar that the guitarist has worked on for years or the way the drums are played not quite on the grid. By enhancing the character of each performer, I aim to help you find your unique sound. For me, that is the most important part of mixing, finding what makes a song unique and accentuating that.

Fullphonics Studio Mixing and Mastering Info:

The most important part of every mixing and mastering studio is the acoustic treatment. No legendary hardware compressor or big console will ever fix a badly built studio. Achieving the right amount of absorption and diffusion plays a critical role in a good mixing and mastering setup. With the help of a professional acoustics engineer, we have painstakingly developed the Fullphonics studio space to give us every chance in finding the best in each project
